I’m Back and I’m Fed Up

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Okay I have grossly ignored this blog, which I had intended to be a place to post my opinions on current events, and more specifically political events, but I did not. I was busy with so many other things that I neglected this.
So what is going on in the world today?
Spain had its credit rating dropped from a AAA to AA+. Will we see ours drop too?
It’s possible !
Our government is not trying in anyway to reduce the national debt. We don’t even have a budget yet? But where is the media on this? Nowhere!

So What am I fed up about? Do you care? Probably not, but I might as well commit my thoughts somewhere and I have this space to do it.

I am fed up with the separation of the races in this country!

Blacks have made tremendous progress in the US. Is it perfect? not by a long shot, but then nothing is ever perfect. The fact is we have a black president and he could never have been elected without whites voting for him. That’s a fact.

Yes we still have discrimination! We need to stop it. And in my opinion the first one who should lead the way is our President, a bi-racial person who does not acknowledge his white heritage publicly. We need to stop asking people’s race on forms. That’s my opinion.

Let’s look at this! Why do we ask a person’s race on forms? because of money. When more of one race or another is in a school district, more or less money flows. If we want to be a truly racially equal society, we need to stop this expensive practice. It takes (or it should) take as much, and no more or less money to educate a black child, a legal immigrant from Mexico, or a white child. So the money that any government entity should provide should be the same.

I implore you, readers, whoever you are, to embrace people for their humanity and nothing else. We cannot look at people and say they are different. We cannot look at people and say we gave “them” so much already. We cannot say “we were damaged” we need more. We need to be one society if America is to be strong again.

I am a nobody, a person with an opinion, who tonight is fed up enough to jot down a few words and I think I will continue to jot this thoughts. If I can do anything to help put this country back on the track that we should never have left I will continue to spout off at the media myopic that is today’s norm.
